Shia LaBeouf turned down The Social Network

*Star of* _*Transformers 3*_*, Shia LeBeouf, has revealed that he
turned down leading parts in _The Social Network_ and _127 Hours_.*

He also walked away from talks to feature in future blockbusters _The
Bourne Legacy_ and _Rise of the Planet of the Apes_.

Shia told Details magazine "I'm looking for Warren Beatty-type game
changers."

By turning down David Fincher’s Facebook epic and Danny
Boyle’s intense survival thriller, LaBeouf has missed out on
three Oscars, seven Golden Globes and numerous other cumulative
accolades.

_Rise of the Planet of the Apes_ is the upcoming prequel to _Planet of
the Apes_ and, like _127 Hours_, stars James Franco (rumours that
Franco is LaBeouf’s secret understudy are as yet unconfirmed).

_The Bourne Legacy_ will be the fourth instalment in the Bourne saga
with Jeremy Renner (_The Town_) replacing Matt Damon in the titular
role.

_Transformers: Dark of the Moon_ is currently busy breaking box office
records.
