Benefit Concert Boosts A Lot More Than $1M For Minot
FIRST Released: September 6, 2011 10:02 PM EDT MINOT, N.D. -- Preliminary figures show a concert featuring The Black Eyed Peas because the headliner elevated a minimum of $1.3 million to assist with ton recovery efforts within the North Dakota capital of scotland - Minot. Minot Area Community Foundation leader Ken Kitzman stated inside a news release that Saturday nights initial count of 15,800 people attending in the benefit concert breaks an earlier record looking for a Hug concert this year. Kitzman stated concert authorities continue to be accumulated donations, but a minimum of $1.3 million continues to be elevated to date. Hollywood actor and Minot native Josh Duhamel spoke in the concert, that also featured Ontario-based rockers Charlz Newman. Duhamel is married to Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.
